Tiling is a skilled job without the need of much physical demand. A good tiler will know how a room will look even before applying a tile. Again this is an industry where the demand is high which reflects in the pay.

You will work in a purpose built 8ft x 8ft bay and tile around obstacles on both walls and floors. The course modules will include :

1. Preparation of walls and floors
2. Demonstrate and explain the difference between adhesives and grouts
3. Tile onto walls and floors
4. Tile around obstacles
5. Incorporate borders and diamond patterns into work
6. Fixing of tile trim
7. Use hand and electric tile cutters
8. Learn how to set out professionally

All of the above modules are covered on our 5 and 10 day courses.
We also offer a 3 day weekend tiling course. The first weekend (sat & sun) will cover setting out and wall tiling, then the following weekend (sat) will cover floor tiling.
